K... I'm a huge slacker.

Its been a while since I've posted a blog. So here is the update. Tony and I yet again moved. This time for good. Tony got promoted to Store manager in Boise Idaho. So we are a little closer to home now. We moved in Sept, right after my brother Kevin got married. It actually worked out great. Kevin got married in Portland so I was able to drive out and see them. The next week Tony and I packed up again and drove out to Boise. We were lucky enough to have some of Tony's family here to house us for a little while until we found our own place. Which we found a cute little house and closed on Oct. 9. I will have some pics soon to show of the house. Its 3 bedroom, 2 and a half bath. It was finished in Aug of this year. So we are the first people to ever live in it. Its also in a cute little town called Kuna. Right in the middle of Boise (where Tony works) and Nampa (where I work). We have a wonderful ward. Everyone one is so nice and welcoming. This is actually the first place that I can remember that our home teachers are actually coming to visit us and calling to make sure that everything is going well every week. I'm very grateful for that. It keeps us going and helps us know that we are truley important in the Lords eyes. On a another note... back to the house. Tony let me have one of the rooms just for myself. So I'm turning it into my craft room. My friend Bekka was here a week ago and for Christmas bought me paint and supplies to help make that room my very own. I painted it a beautiful deep orange color. It looks amazing with my white shelves and soon to be white bookcase. I'm hoping to start my own business and use that room as an office also. The only problem is that when we have children that room will be the nursery. I told Tony that he better start looking for a plan for a mini house in the backyard so he can build me a craft room in there. We'll see what happens.
Tony and I decided that for a couple days we are going to go see family before Christmas to exchange presents and spend time with them. We left last night after work and are going to be leaving tomorrow night. We both have to work on Sat. Its been great visiting and see everyone. Our nieces have grown up so much. Alyssa, is 2, used to be so scared of us but today wanted nothing to do with anyone else but us. We brought her shopping and had a fun day of making crafts for her parents. Danica is turning 1 tomorrow and is just a doll. She is extremely happy all the time. I don't think I've ever heard her cry before. Tomorrow is her first birthday party. It will be fun. After the party we're going to head to my families house and see them. I wished we lived closer. Some days all I want is to hang out with my mom like we used to. Oh well I guess four hours isn't as bad as the 15 we were driving from Rapid City.
On a different note... we've been so blessed this year. The Lord has really been looking after us. Because of the move, Tony got a bonus that paid off most of our debt. So we decided that this would be the best time to buy a house. Because we closed on our house before nov. 30, We qualified for the $8000 tax credit. That helped with the down payment and also payed for the appliances that we still needed to get. We have been so grateful to the Lord for helping us out. It was a huge move and we prayed a lot to know if it was the right thing to do.
I will do my best to keep up on whats going on in our lives. Its been a busy time of year. I hope all is well with everyone... Have a Merry Christmas!!!!!
