My decorating ideas

So Today my sweet husband let me buy a big Eiffel Tower for our living room. I've decided that I would like to put a European flare to the room. I'll take some pics as soon as I'm done decorating. My other thought is that I'm going to get a canvas and do my own artwork. That way I don't have to fork out a lot of money buy one. I'm excited to work on it. I'll have a lot of time now that Tony has to work everyday for a while. Yesterday his assistant manager decided that he was done and quit, which leaves only Tony and one other sales lady. I feel bad for Tony. It will be stressful for a little bit but we will work though it. I just hope that they can find another manager that is a hard worker and help Tony out. I just wish the old one luck and hope that what ever he is doing is worth quitting in the way that he did. So off the subject of decorating, sorry. Lol... well more later.

Charity event... need donations

So I don't think I have mentioned this on here at all but for Best Buy I'm now in charge of doing all the community service projects for the store. Right now we are going an event on March 17. It is a wonderful event for a great cause. Junior Achievement is a organization that helps teach kids skills that they will need when they grow up but showing them ways with financing to running a business to everyday events. So to help raise money I'm asking for donations for this cause. If you would like to help me out but giving a pledge please let me know. I am only asking for $12 from who ever would like to donate. They event that we are doing in called a Bowl-a-thon. This is where we get the opportunity to bowl and raise even more money for this charity.

The really cool thing that Best Buy does is sets up a store for this kids to run and purchase things at. We give them some money and split them up. Half the kids have to run the store and the other half get to spend the money and manage their money. Then they switch. Its a great thing because we're not just telling them but we're actually giving them hands on experience. So please help me raise some money for them so we can teach more kids every year. Thank you!!!!!

My sweet husband

For Valentines day Tony set up the whole house as a surprise for me. He made dinner, bought me these beautiful roses (which is amazing cause he really never buys me them), and a lot of candy. So he made me close my eyes and he guided me down stairs to a candlelit dinner. It was fantastic. He made me Halibut, salad, and garlic bread. Then him and I went up stairs. Up the stairs there was rose petals and candy in a trail heading to the living room and the bedroom.
This is what was on the bed when you followed the trail to the bedroom.
This was what was on the couch when you followed the trail to the living room. I'm am so grateful to have in my life. Its these kind of moments that lets me still know that he still loves me. Not that I don't know that everyday. But he doesn't spoil me very often but when he does its a complete surprise. He is such a great guy. He is my best friend and my everything. I love him and I'm glad that he is mine forever.

My new bedroom

So about three weeks ago Tony decided that he wanted a bigger bed. I of course was like NO... our bed is fine. Well of course he got his way and we got a new bed but in exchange I decided that we needed another dresser. Our clothes don't fit inside the dresser we have right now. Plus soon I'll need new clothes. Lol... that sounds like I'm pregnant but I'm sad to say I still am not. I've actually been working out and losing weight so soon I will need a whole new set of clothes. Actually I just found out that Best Buy has this program where they will set you up with a doctor who will help you out with a weight loss plan. If I make my goal they will give me a $250 gift card to a store of my choice. So wish me luck...

Anyways... about my bedroom. Lol!!!! This is the King size bed that my husband got... if it looks familiar it is. We decided that we didn't want to have to replace the whole set so we bought the same bed only one size bigger. I love our new bedding set though. Tony actually picked it out.

So here is my new dresser. I actually like it a lot. I have a lot more drawers with this one. So now I have a bigger bed that makes my bedroom feel like a luxery hotel room. I just now need to decorate it and get some curtains up. I just keep telling myself "In time" I just need to be patient and I'll be able to get my house in order. I'm just the type who wants it to be done right away. Oh well ...

Another day has past and gone...

I don't know about everyone else but it feels like time has been going by so fast. I really don't have a very exciting life and I wonder if that is part of the reason it feels this way. Tony and I work a lot and sleep. That is pretty much the extent of our lives. Fun huh? We really don't even have time to clean our house. How sad is that? I have no solution on how to change it. I'm not trying to complain because we have great lives and we have fun together but it just seems life just keeps flying by. I can't believe that its already Feb. Wow... doesn't it seem like it was just Christmas? Anyways... enough venting for right now.
So I started a new blog. Its called Frenchy's Crafts. Its www.frenchyscrafts.blogspot.com My goal is to show people how to do crafts. I thought I was going to do it once a day but I'm thinking once a week will be good. Not only is there going to be crafts but there is also going to be contests, things people can buy, and my favorite recipes. I just hope everyone will like it and that it will jump start a future business. I would love to open a store or a web business. We'll see how it goes first. I'll do my first craft or blog on it tomorrow. Its my day off... we'll see how it works out. Lol...
Well off to spend some time with my hubby. More later....

Adulthood...Disney...makeovers

So Tony and I worked on our taxes the other day to find out that we have to pay. Not a little but a little then what we expected. We owe about 1500 dollars. Which is nuts cause we payed almost 10 grand in taxes already. We've come to the conclusion that we will probably never get money back again. Oh well that is what you get for being adults right? Good thing we saved money. Its just a bummer cause that we have to take it out of our Disney . YES... we have a Disney fund. Next year my family is doing family reunion on the Disney Cruise. We decided because Michael will be coming home from his mission and Hannah will be graduating, it would be a fun trip to get everyone together for a vacation. Tony and I have been looking forward to it since last year. We're getting back into shape and trying to get as much of our car and house payed off as possible that way we have no worries before we leave on the trip. I'm excited to go... 1. because I haven't been back since I worked at Disneyworld in 2003 and 2. I get to bring Tony with me. He has never gone and there is so much down there that I would like to share with him. For our first anniversary I took him to Disneyland for the first time. He loved it. He's a big kid anyways so I figure he will be in heaven when he see's what is in store down there. I know for me there are so many changes that it won't be the same since I was there. Plus the last time my family had a vacation was way before I got married. I actually think the last time is when they came to visit me at Disney World. So that was a long time ago. Brian, Kevin and I went on missions, We've all gotten married and Brian and his wife had a baby boy. So there have been a lot of changes since my family was all together. It will be a great place to hang out and see each other again.
That same year is also my 10 year High School Reunion. That makes me feel so old. So my goal before the next year is to lose 40 pounds, get my teeth fixed, and hopefully look and feel better. My husband says that I look great and I don't need to do anything to myself but for me I feel like I'm ready for a change. I've been doing the Biggest Loser workout for the Wii. It is kicking my butt but its actually working. I recommend it for everyone. It always makes me feel fantastic after I do a workout plus it has recipes and a calorie counter. Well worth buying.
Well this is another long blog... Lol. As soon as I either find my camera charger or buy a new camera I'll be able to post some more pics on here. Until then your stuck with my boring typing. Until tomorrow... take care and I hope all is well

Feb. 7, 2010

Nothing interesting happened really today. Tony and I both had to work. I don't mind work now that I'm back in the sales operator position (which is the person who answers and sales over the phone). I'm excited because now I can focus a lot more on the community relations group that I'm now in charge of for my store. Plus this will give me time to spend with Tony now. I'll get three days off instead of only one or two.
We got a new computer finally. I'm excited about it. We finally settled on getting a laptop, even though Tony didn't want one. He really likes desktops but I needed something for when I start school. Not sure when that will be but hopefully in the next year or so. I really need to go back so that I feel like I'm actually doing something with my life. My thought is either I'm going to have a baby (which is not happening any time soon, I'm still having health problems) or at least go back to school and get my teaching degree.
Some updates that I haven't mentioned:
-I won a PS3 at work... Its been a wonderful actually watching blurays. Not really sure how we watched regular movies once we watched an actual bluray on our tv. Amazing!!!!!!
-My brother Brian is on leave in Guam. I keep telling him its more like a vacation then work.
-Tony went to Vegas last week for Golf tournaments. I payed for him to go for Christmas. The poor guy was sick the whole time. I felt so bad for him. He said that he would golf all day and then at night go to the hotel and sleep. He finally got over whatever bug he had a couple days ago.
Sorry I'm pretty boring. We really didn't do anything today.
